Natalie McMillian Sponsorship Fund
When Micah's was established in 2017, Nat was one of our first students to attend. She loved working with the younger students, especially those with different abilities. Nat was full of life and laughter! In December 2018, she was diagnosed with a DIPG brain tumor. This began the fight for her life! Nat and her family clung to Nat's word and scripture with prayer.
STRONG: "Be strong and courageous for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9
Throughout her time at Micah's, her goal was to graduate, then work at Micah's with our Autism and Cognitive Delayed population. After almost a year of fighting, Nat became our guardian angel and sits at the feet of Jesus. In honor of her memory, we began a sponsorship fund in her name to continue her legacy of demonstrating compassion, inclusion, and love. Since we are a 501(c)3, every donation is considered a charitable gift. In addition, we have an Endowment set with The Methodist Foundation that helps support our mission and ensures sustainability for future initiatives.
To Sponsor a Student is an incredible act of kindness. This generosity will ensure that our students receive the very best educational experience and resources we can provide. Our students deserve the very best and we strive everyday to ensure that their learning experience is to the highest caliber.
