"To Act Justly, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly with Your God." -Micah 6:8
Micah's Mission is a faith-based mission which allows students to discover and further their relationship with God while learning how to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We were founded on the principle of God's teachings through the story of Micah. Micah's Mission is a Non-Profit Organization 501(c)3. At this time we are funded through tuition, grants, and donations. Our goal is for every student that needs our services be fully funded through grants and donations.
Micah's Mission is a Hybrid Learning and Resource Center for students with and without disabilities that will strive to meet all regulations expected by the state of Mississippi in order to assure an accepted homeschool diploma/certificate with the completion of 12th grade with partnership of all parents and guardians. Parents are expected to register their children with the truancy officer before school begins as a homeschooler and hybrid learner at Micah’s Mission School.
Micah's Mission provides hybrid support through parents choice of amount of subjects, activities, field trips, and community service their child requires. We recommend utilizing http://www.time4learning.com as the curriculum, because this resource aligns with the College and Career Readiness Standards. T4L has an online portfolio to demonstrate progress and mastery with a provided transcript. In addition, an achievement test will be decided upon to indicate progress and testing skills to end the year by parent per students individual need.
